Who we are looking for
Charles River Development[State Street Company]’s Alpha Data Interfaces [ADI] division with responsibility to integrate data from Front/Middle/Back Office applications on the Alpha Data Platform is seeking an experienced hands-on, dynamic and analytical Capital Markets/Data specialist to join our organization.
As part of ADI, the Officer [ADI] will be responsible for understand, documenting the data flows and explaining the business drivers to development and testing teams.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for
As ADI Business Analyst, you will
Engage and assist business managers and end users to articulate requirements.
Elicit requirements, prioritize and analyze requests, design business processes, workflows and user interfaces, review of functional specifications and data mapping templates
Work with System Delivery and Project Office as well as other internal IT departments, IS and vendor to arrive at optimal solutions for the Business with compliances to Bank’s standards, policies and guidelines
Able to translate technical designs and jargons into terms that business can understand and associate
Prepare / review test scenarios and test cases, support test utility team for SIT, support user for UAT and other related activities to ensure business needs are met
Ensure gaps in deliverables are identified early and addressed effectively, effective reporting on a regular basis while ensuring Business stakeholders' expectations are met
Provide thought leadership within own area of responsibility and BA profession within the bank
Provide Domain support to extended IT/data Operations teams by articulating requirements
Provide support to Data architecture and Data Governance teams to ensure that target operating models are progressing in line with the preferred strategic architecture
What we value
Extensive knowledge of Front/Middle/Back office functions of a Trade Life Cycle
Extensive knowledge of Data Analysis, Data Warehousing platforms and Data Governance concepts
Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake and Talend will be added advantage
Strong written, verbal communication and time management skills
Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues by working with other areas within Alpha Data Interfaces
Education & Preferred Qualifications
10+ Years of experience in Front/Middle/Back office functions in Capital Markets industry
8+ Years of experience on Data Platforms
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, work independently while maintaining attention to detail and meet deadlines in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
Experience in preparing presentations for stakeholders
Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, innovative, and a self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative
Strong collaboration skills, working with business, Development, Testing partners
